Timber Creek Golf Course The 18-hole Lakes/Oaks course and the nine-hole Sierra Pines course combine for 27 holes of options and value rarely available outside of membership-only facilities. The low fees including cart is significantly less than what local high-end public courses charge. Golfers typically consider these courses as one of the best values in the entire Sacramento area. The Lakes/Oaks course is an eighteen-hole Billy Casper/Greg Nash designed course divided into two nines, each with distinct personalities over 6,510 yards. The back nine winds through many of the development's 150-200 year-old heritage oak trees. The popularity of Sierra Pines course is due to its multiple tees which make it a different course every time you play. From the executive tees, it plays only 2,005 yards and is par-31. But from the Casper tees, it's a more challenging 3,175 yard, par-36 course.
Golfers love the close proximity to the US-80 Corridor because they can stop by for a nine or 18-hole round on the way home or early risers can get in nine before work. If you want to work on your game a little while the traffic thins out, there's not a better place than the 30-station, three-tiered grass practice range. Or you may prefer spending an hour at the short-game area with its undulating green and practice bunker.
The Timbers at the Lodge Restaurant can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The Sierra Pines Snack Bar & Deli is the perfect place for your group gathering. All in all, Timber Creek Golf Course offers a great golf experience. You don't have to be a member or a resident of Sun City Roseville to enjoy Timber Creek Golf Course. However, residents do get eight-day advanced tee times; the general public gets seven.
